Students create new kitchen garden at The Exchange

Work experience, collaboration and community engagement are at the heart of a fantastic new project beginning this week at The Exchange in Erith. Students from London South East Colleges’ Employment Preparation Pathway, along with their tutor Paul O'Dwyer and learning support assistant Emma Day, have joined Directors Peter Nutley and Sarah Batten to create a fabulous kitchen garden in the grounds of the old Erith library.

Staff and students at London South East Colleges’ BR6 Restaurant and Bakehouse in Orpington welcomed a very special guest through their doors last Friday. London Mayor, Sadiq Khan came along to the Orpington Labour Party annual general meeting as their guest of honour and managed to take a short tour of the facilities, talk to students about their courses and even found the time for an impromptu photoshoot.

Dance students' 'Stand Out' performance brings the house down at Greenwich Little Theatre

Students 'Discover to Escape' at Orpington and Greenwich travel shows

With Spring in the air, and people turning their attention towards their summer holidays, two groups of travel and tourism students have held their annual ‘Discover to Escape’ travel shows at our Orpington and Greenwich Campuses this week. They created a truly international look and feel to the events and were on-hand to offer their guests travel advice while promoting a number of different holiday destinations in the UK and worldwide.
